About Battersea Anthology

The Battersea Anthology is an annual literature collection of short stories, narrative non-fiction pieces and poetry gathered anonymously from writers associated with the Battersea and Nine Elms area in London. The anthology is initially funded by the Wandsworth Council. We aim to run the anthology independently through the support of our patrons and readers.

The Battersea Anthology is created, edited and designed by Priscilla Yeung.

The theme of the first Battersea Anthology is ‘grow and flourish’, which a special focus on community and connections. Submissions do NOT have to be directly about Battersea and Nine Elms. Equal and fair payments will be made to all work chosen for publishing. There’s no cost to submit.

The anthology champions new and diverse voices of local talents by harnessing the power of local organisations and communities to reach out to under-represented writers associated with the area.
