Battersea Anthology is Not Stopping

Invite Us to Speak to Your Organisations/Students about Becoming a Writer.

At the end of Battersea Anthology’s 2023 edition launch, founder and editor-in-chief Priscilla Yeung shared her vision for the next step for Battersea Anthology. There is going to be, of course, a 2024 edition (and even more). But for the time being, the vision is simple:

Outreach.

Had Priscilla known what she now knows, she would’ve kickstarted her literary career much earlier than she did and would also feel a lot less confused. The image of a novelist/poet/writer is always one of a ‘starving artist’. Is that true? It might be true - until you know what kind of opportunities exist.

Priscilla is keen to visit your organisations/schools to introduce a writer's career - busting a few myths and answering some fundamental questions.

This way, your members/students are informed before deciding how to proceed with their next step (or simply what to do with the novel idea rummaging in their heads!). There is no charge for this outreach event, and organisations beyond Battersea and Nine Elms are welcome. This can be done either virtually or in person, subject to availability.

Contact Priscilla today to discuss: batterseaanthology@gmail.com
